The 1st international economic Wooden House construction forum is the significant event for the building and woodworking industry. The event will be organized as a part of the XIV International exhibition WOODEN HOUSE business program that will be held in CROCUS EXPO fairground from 23rd to 26th of March 2017 in Crocus Expo fairground, Moscow, Russia.

International Economic Wooden house construction forum aims to create the unique platform for businessmen communication to discuss key economic problems facing the Russian wooden house-building industry. Forum has direct link to the Wooden house exhibition which exposition shows the complex approach to a reliable wooden house construction: project selection, production of lumber and individual structural elements, construction and engineering equipment of an object, decoration, interior design, landscaping of adjacent territory as an ambient house extension.
The Forum is an important step in implementation of the Russian Federation government program: «The industry developing and increasing its competitiveness» as well as the realization of the outcome of the Prime Minister D. A. Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the RF Government A. G. Khloponin, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation D. V. Manturov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the RF, V. L. Evtuhov and other members of the Russian Federation government meeting on the topic of «On the innovation development of the industry of construction materials», whereon the sides discussed prospects for the wooden housing construction development in our country.
Increased usage of wooden ware and structures is one of the most important directions in the construction industry development, explained by D. Manturov: «For example, the EU plans to increase wooden house building up to 80% for the newly introduced low-rise housing. The most promising technologies such as laminated veneer lumber and supporting structures of laminated panels with insulation are being actively explored in our country. Experts predict around 10-12% average annual growth up to 2020 in this segment on the Russian market.»
